Born in the middle of no where in Mississippi, Cletus grew up in 
the bayous of Mississippi fighting gators and other animals just to survive and to have food. in his early teens Cletus was a beer drinking hell-raiser until one day he found religion, religion preached by a traveling preacher who taught about vengeance and pain, Cletus quickly latched onto this belief and based his life's values on it while applying his own twisted views onto it.

Cletus started making a living by wrestling in back yard matches and
alligator matches winning nearly all of them, except for the one where he lost his left index finger. Though Cletus claims to have wrestled a actual Big Foot this remains unverified as since Big Foot is considered a legend by everyone.. except Cletus. 

Cletus often refers to himself in the 3rd person and has at times actually appeared to have multiple personalities, one of which is the dominate one and is the mean violent one, however the 2nd personality appears to be a much more calm and level headed one, 
however this personality hasn't been seen very often as Cletus tends to stay with his dominate one. Make no argument about it, Cletus may be unorthodox in his style of fighting but he is very dangerous and has an extremely high tolerance for pain. In fact some have said Cletus gets off on pain. Cletus is also known for his lack of hygiene. Cletus seems to avoid bathing and absolutely detest any type of dental hygiene... making it all the more fun to get close to this guy.. His level of success remains to be seen in the IHWA.
